Basics

The second edition of "Ride for your Rights!" consisted of a different approach to our original ways. Having consulted all our partners and participants, we chose to have multiple, simultaneous events, instead of one long tour.

Bike of Honour exhibits

The Bike of Honour has been one of our symbols for a while. Throughout the first edition of "Ride for your Rights!", many of our most prominent supporters signed the Bike of Honour to show that they stand by us in the effort to promote student mobility.

Lodz - Katowice

The cities of Katowice and Lodz, in Poland, were two of the main stops of the first "Ride for your Rights!" edition, back in the summer of 2011. Then, we witnessed the great attitude of many students, volunteers and cycling activists and counted on the precious support of local government, universities and youth organisations.

True to their reputation, the Polish crew decided to hop on their bikes again in 2012.

Luxembourg - Brussels

The main focus of our organization, this Ride will be the longest and take many participants across Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, from May 26th to June 2nd.
Several events will be held, including exhibiting the Bike of Honour at the European Parliament and at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

Aveiro - Barra

In 2012, the city of Aveiro (Portugal) witnessed one of the "Ride for your Rights!" local events. A natural choice, considering the cycling tradition together with the strong focus that the local university puts on mobility and international cooperation.
